The perfect destination for couples and families, the InterContinental Aphrodite Hills Resort Hotel has something for everyone. An excellent18 hole championship golf course and an outstanding tennis academy are two popular features of the hotel along with a wonderful spa and superb kids club.
Two beaches are available for relaxing and enjoying the water.
Directly in front of the hotel sits the Cove. Guests reach the cove by shuttle from the hotel and sunbeds, showering facilities and towels are available.
The alternative is the Zias Beach Club offering a full service sandy, child friendly beach. A bar and restaurant is available here.

Golfing at Aphrodite Hills
The first-ever leisure and golf development of its kind in Cyprus, the Aphrodite Hills Resort, is home to a magnificent 18-hole championship golf course, which spreads over 6,299 metres. Overlooking the site where Aphrodite, the goddess of love, is said to have emerged from the sea, the golf course also has a dedicated three-hole golfing academy and sumptuous clubhouse.
The third to be built in Cyprus, this award-winning golf course officially opened in 2002 and was designed by acclaimed architect, Cabell Robinson. Robinson believes Aphrodite Hills to be the perfect mix of challenging pot bunkers, manicured fairways of lush Bermuda grass and generous tiered greens. Visually spectacular, the course expands through indigenous olive and carob trees and built on two plateaux separated by a dramatic ravine with outstanding views over the Mediterranean. A 130-metre gorge dividing tees at the par three, the seventh hole is the perfect opportunity to put your skills to the test
Each hole has five sets of tee markers. There are competition and regular tees for men with two sets for ladies. Back or pro tees stretch the total length of the course for single figure and professional golfers but there is a shorter more enjoyable course for the average resort player.
Beginners and experienced players of all abilities are encouraged to learn and improve their game at the Aphrodite Hills three-hole golfing academy, where a team of resident PGA qualified golf professionals equipped with a full video swing analysis system can provide the very best one-on-one tuition.
With a large, double-ended driving range, a short game area with a large pitching and chipping green and a three-hole academy course, Aphrodite Hills golf provides the perfect environment for learning golf before progressing to the full course.
The Spa
In the heart of the Aphrodite Hills Resort is the award winning spa, ‘The Retreat’ – a haven of calm, serenity and tranquillity offering an indulgent and blissful break from everyday life.
The Retreat is located on an elevated part of the resort above the Mediterranean Sea with spectacular views from the outdoor pool and even the sauna. State-of-the-art facilities and an expert team of therapists await residents, guests and local visitors to provide them with the ultimate in top-to-toe pampering for the mind, body and soul. The Greco-Roman bathing rituals of cleansing and relaxation inspired the design, atmosphere and ambience of The Retreat.
A total of 27 tranquil treatment rooms offer a variety of idyllic possibilities from private to couple’s rooms to specialised hydrotherapy, spa manicure and pedicure rooms, thai rooms and outdoor massage pavilions. Using Pevonia Botanica products and Li’tya Aboriginal products throughout the spa, treatments include facial and body treatments, as well as massage and aromatherapy.
Guests also have the opportunity to indulge in the spa’s ‘thermae’ facilities. Deriving from the Greek word ‘heat’, thermae bathing is a detoxifying treatment dating back to ancient Roman life and involves a series of heat rooms progressively increasing in temperature tempered with cooling hydro showers or ice shaving.
