The Resort
Boasting 32 acres of Barbados Platinum coast, Almond Beach Village, a former sugar plantation. One mile of powder white sandy beach, backed with lush tropical foliage, the Almond Beach Village offers the entire family a superb, high quality Caribbean holiday.
Accomodation
At this popular all-inclusive resort, guests have the choice of 11 room catagories, from standard rooms to a presadential suite. All rooms are complete with balconies or patios with dining sets, coffee makers, hair dryers, satelite tv and ceiling fans in addition to air conditioning as standard.
Dining
Dining at Beach Village is a gourmet experience! There are five fabulous restaurants to choose from at the resort, all with their own identity and superb menus.
Horizons - The resorts main restaurant, serving buffet breakfast. Full lunch with a choice of either a la carte or buffet lunch, menus change daily and a dinner menu of a la carte continental cuisine. A British style high tea is served daily from 3.00 - 4.30 pm.
The Reef - Buffet style breakfst and lunch by the ocean. The Reef transforms to ther esorts seafood restaurant for dinner.
Enids - Open for dinner offering classic Bajan cuisine, in a colourful, festive atmosphere.
Boardwalk Bar & Grill - Guests wanting a casual lunch will find just that at this beachfront location, with daily beach bbq.
La Smarita - Our adult restaurant (only for the over 16s) open for dinner only, serving authentic Northern Italian cuisine.
Activities & Sports
As if the beach isn’t enough, the Village has ten freshwater swimming pools including an adults only pool with beach bar, two cool freshwater jacuzzis, childrens pools and an infant pool with slides. As part of the all-inclusive resort package, facilities included are numerous, including hobie cat sailing, snorkelling, waterskiing, windsurfing, reel fishing, aquacycles, kayaks, fishing, squash, tennis and par 3 nine-hole golf
Kids Clubs and the nursery
Almond Resorts is one of the few resorts offering a full nursery service with qualified nannys, from birth to two years old. Complementary from 10 - 5 daily. Private sitting in the evenings is available at a charge bookable locally.
Our Kids Club offers activities for children – ranging from three to four, available daily 10 - 5 and from five to twelve, available 10 - 10 daily – including beach and pool activities, shell collecting, lessons in local dance, culture and music, plus computers and video games. Movies, water sports, disco night and much more await our teenage visitors.
Our parents can find refuge in our spa, a late dinner for just two, or simply spend some time together doing nothing at all!
Diving
Many PADI dive centres are available in barbados. The nearest dive school is only a two minute frive from the hotel, the local dive school does collect and drop of at this property. Diving can be booked through reception.
Many dive sites are on the hotels door steps, the visability is excellent. You can dive many reefs and wrecks including the famous stav wreck at up to 40 metres depth. Diving here is suitable for all divers from tri dives to dive master. Our staff at Lincolnshire travel club have dived all of the sites on offer. We will help with any questions you may have.
Wedding & Honeymoons
